Point of Fire
The two day shoot at Club Punta Fuego and Terrazas de Punta Fuego was the icing on top of the cake, August had been a busy busy month for us, we had multiple shoots in a day and schedule was really packed! Having the chance to get away from the city (though still for work) was just refreshing!
It was my first time at Punta Fuego and I would have to say I fell in love with the place. I’ve heard good things about the place before but never did I expect it to be that overwhelmingly beautiful! The scenery was breathtaking and as we have commented multiple times while we were there… it’s “almost paradise.”
The best part of the two day shoot would have to be the food! Haha! We did some food shots and the best part of it was that we got to feast on them after the shoot. The sumptuous food was of course prepared by Punta Fuego’s resident chef Mikel Arriet, whom was also our “model” when we shot the water sports photos.
We would also like to thank Ms. Tia and Ms. Marj for being so “cowboy”, they were so kind and didn’t even mind carrying small equipments around to help us throughout the photo shoot.
Levi’s Farewell Party
August 8, 2008 marked the last day of operations for the Levi Strauss & Co. “cut-and-sew” plant in Makati.
The farewell party was attended by the 257 employees who just lost their jobs. But hey! For the record, those people were the happiest unemployed people I’ve ever encountered! It does show that those employees had been under a very good management for the past years. Of course they had the usual group presentations which must be credited for their artistry, and a shoutout to the elder employees who were just as groovy as youngsters!
They even got to party with 6 Cycle Mind that night!
In my opinion, that in itself was well worth it! I must have to say that LSPI people definitely knew how to party!!! Oh, that photo on the right is the team… partying along with LSPI!
GP strikes again!
Gerry and Liezel, the second couple who got struck by Geronimo Photographico’s TRIPLE Onsite mania!
